   Try ryanair.com and easyjet.com. They are “hard discount” airlines whose tickets are only available at their own websites.

   sends out a weekly email telling you of the top 20 flights that they have found. I subscribe to this and have been astonished at how low some prices were. I found flight’s to London for $159 each way plus two nights in a hotel. There’s also cruises listed and week long vacations to places like Africa and Japan. There’s always something new.

   If you have flexibility as far as departure times, I have had a lot of success with priceline.com. I’ve booked entire international vacations for less than just the tickets would cost through another supplier.
