kayak.com is the best, they research every airline and network like expedia, hotwire, etc. you don’t buy the tickets from them but they direct you to the cheapest site, good luck.

Southwest Airlines. You won’t be able to get a direct flight, you will have to make 1 stop. But you could easily get a roundtrip ticket for under $400

    Hello

I am also hoping to travel, in may.
I am also looking for cheap tickets now mind you I want to go further than you and I found some good prices for where I want to go.
Try Flightcenter.com (google it if my adress is wrong)

I am going all the way to europe it will cost me about $860.00, give it a try. My price is including the tax and all, so if you a price that says 400 or 500…always keep in mind that at least $300.00 of tax will be added.

Request your travel agent to give you an e-ticket based on special student fare from Salt Lake City to Nashville. Or look for low fare airlines in US, these airlines offer no service on board and let you travel cheaper.
    Ask for frontier Airlines
